    IOC President presents certificate of recognition to Belgian athlete Aagje Vanwalleghem

    IOC President Thomas Bach presented an Olympic diploma and pin to the Belgian athlete Aagje Vanwalleghem, a gymnast who took part in the Olympic Games Athens 2004. The athlete also signed the Olympians Wall at the International Olympic Committee based in Lausanne.

    We are all here to contribute to a safer sport, each in our own way, from our vantage point. Our common challenge is a significant one. Its complexity can be compared to battling climate change: success can only be achieved through common action of both individuals and institutions.
